This powerful, muscular scenthound originally was bred to hunt wild boar and bears but is now used for hunting raccoons. The Plott is aggressive, confident and daring while hunting, yet calm, steadfast and affectionate at home. He has a distinctive loud, choppy voice. Daily exercise is a must for this athletic, robust breed. The Plott’s smooth, glossy coat requires minimal grooming.
